Important Notice

DisputeAI is NOT a law firm, credit repair organization, or credit counseling service. We provide document generation tools only. Please read this disclaimer carefully before using our service.

Not Legal Advice

The information and services provided by DisputeAI are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. The dispute letters generated by our service are templates based on information you provide and should not be considered legal documents prepared by an attorney.

If you need legal advice regarding your credit report, debt collection, or any related matter, we strongly recommend consulting with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

No Guarantee of Results

We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding:

  • The removal or modification of any items on your credit report
  • Improvements to your credit score
  • The response or actions of credit bureaus or creditors
  • The accuracy or completeness of information in generated letters
  • Any specific outcome from using our service

Credit bureaus are required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to investigate disputes and make their own determinations about the accuracy of reported information. The outcome of any dispute depends on many factors beyond our control.

Your Responsibilities

By using DisputeAI, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide
  • You will only dispute items you genuinely believe are inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable
  • Disputing accurate information may not result in its removal and could be considered frivolous
  • You are responsible for reviewing all generated letters before sending them
  • You are responsible for properly mailing the letters and following up with credit bureaus

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

Under the FCRA, you have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information on your credit report. Credit bureaus are required to investigate disputes within 30 days (or 45 days in certain circumstances) and remove or correct information that cannot be verified.

However, the FCRA does not guarantee that all disputed items will be removed. If the credit bureau verifies the information as accurate, it will remain on your report. Repeatedly disputing verified information may be considered frivolous.

Not a Credit Repair Organization

DisputeAI is a document generation tool, not a credit repair organization as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). We do not:

  • Dispute items on your behalf
  • Contact credit bureaus or creditors for you
  • Negotiate with creditors
  • Promise specific improvements to your credit
  • Charge fees before services are rendered

AI-Generated Content

Our dispute letters are generated using artificial intelligence technology. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inconsistencies. You should review all generated letters carefully before use and make any necessary corrections.

Third-Party Services

Our service relies on third-party providers for payment processing (Stripe), data storage (Supabase), and AI processing (Anthropic). We are not responsible for the actions or policies of these third parties.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DISPUTEAI AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Denial of credit or increased interest rates
  • Failure to remove disputed items
  • Actions taken by credit bureaus or creditors
  • Errors or inaccuracies in generated letters
  • Loss of data or service interruptions
