IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE

DisputeAI is NOT a law firm, attorney, credit repair organization, credit counseling service, or financial advisor. We provide document generation software tools only. The use of our Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please read this entire disclaimer carefully before using our Service.

Not Legal Advice

The information, services, and materials provided by DisputeAI are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or legal services of any kind.

The dispute letters generated by our Service are automated templates created by artificial intelligence based solely on the information you provide. These letters should not be considered legal documents prepared by an attorney, and they have not been reviewed by a licensed attorney.

IF YOU NEED LEGAL ADVICE REGARDING YOUR CREDIT REPORT, DEBT COLLECTION, CONSUMER RIGHTS, OR ANY RELATED MATTER, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CONSULTING WITH A LICENSED ATTORNEY IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

You can find a licensed attorney through:

  • Your state bar association's lawyer referral service
  • Legal aid organizations if you qualify for free legal assistance
  • Consumer law attorneys specializing in credit issues

No Guarantee of Results

WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND REGARDING THE OUTCOME OF YOUR CREDIT DISPUTES OR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF OUR SERVICE.

Specifically, we do not guarantee:

  • The removal, modification, or correction of any items on your credit report
  • Any improvement to your credit score or creditworthiness
  • Any specific response or action from credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
  • Any specific response or action from creditors, collection agencies, or data furnishers
  • The accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of generated dispute letters
  • That disputed items will be investigated or responded to within any specific timeframe
  • Any financial benefit, approval for credit, or reduction in interest rates
  • That using our Service will prevent negative consequences from credit reporting

Credit bureaus and data furnishers make their own independent determinations about the accuracy of reported information based on their investigation processes. The outcome of any dispute depends on many factors entirely outside our control, including the nature of the disputed item, the evidence available, and the policies of the credit bureaus and creditors involved.

Past results, success stories, or statistics mentioned on our website do not guarantee future outcomes. Each dispute is unique, and results vary significantly based on individual circumstances.

Your Responsibilities

By using DisputeAI, you acknowledge, agree, and represent that:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide to our Service
  • You will only dispute items you genuinely and reasonably believe are inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or otherwise reportable in error under the Fair Credit Reporting Act
  • You understand that disputing accurate information is unlikely to result in its removal and may be considered frivolous by credit bureaus
  • You are responsible for carefully reviewing all generated letters before sending them
  • You are responsible for properly mailing letters (or using our mailing service) and following up with credit bureaus
  • You understand that you are acting on your own behalf and not relying on DisputeAI as your representative
  • You will not use our Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Any documents you upload (ID, proof of address, signature) are genuine and belong to you

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Information

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.), you have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information on your credit report directly with credit bureaus. Key points to understand:

  • Credit bureaus are required to investigate disputes within 30 days (or 45 days in certain circumstances)
  • If information cannot be verified, it must be removed or corrected
  • Credit bureaus may determine a dispute to be "frivolous" if it lacks sufficient information or appears to be made in bad faith
  • Repeatedly disputing verified, accurate information may result in your disputes being deemed frivolous
  • The FCRA does not guarantee removal of all disputed items—only those that are inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable
  • You have the right to add a consumer statement to your credit file explaining disputed items

Our Service helps you exercise your rights under the FCRA by generating dispute letters. However, we do not guarantee compliance with FCRA requirements, and the ultimate responsibility for ensuring proper dispute procedures lies with you.

Not a Credit Repair Organization

DisputeAI is a document generation software tool, not a "credit repair organization" as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq. We do not:

  • Dispute items on your behalf or contact credit bureaus for you
  • Represent you in communications with creditors or credit bureaus
  • Negotiate with creditors or collection agencies
  • Promise or guarantee specific improvements to your credit
  • Advise you to dispute accurate information
  • Create new credit identities or suggest using a different Social Security number
  • Charge fees before services are fully performed

Important: You have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report for free by contacting the credit bureaus directly. You do not need to pay anyone to dispute information on your credit report. Our Service provides convenience and AI-generated letter templates, but the underlying right to dispute is free under federal law.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our dispute letters are generated using artificial intelligence technology (specifically, large language models). You should understand that:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies
  • The AI generates content based on patterns in training data and the information you provide—it does not have access to your actual credit report unless you upload it
  • AI cannot verify the accuracy of information you provide or the legitimacy of your disputes
  • AI does not have legal training or certification and cannot provide legal advice
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use
  • We make no warranties about the fitness of AI-generated letters for any particular purpose

Always review generated letters carefully before sending them. Make any corrections or modifications you deem necessary. You are responsible for the content of any letters you send.

Mailing Services Disclaimer

Our optional mailing services are provided through a third-party partner (Docupost). Regarding mailing services:

  • We are not responsible for mail that is lost, delayed, damaged, or misdelivered by USPS or our mailing partner
  • Delivery times are estimates based on USPS standards and are not guaranteed
  • Tracking information, when available, is provided by USPS and may not always be accurate or complete
  • Certified Mail provides proof of mailing and delivery but does not guarantee the recipient will read or respond to the letter
  • You are responsible for verifying that mailing addresses are correct before placing orders
  • We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from incorrect addresses you provide
  • Once a mailing order is submitted for processing, it cannot be canceled or refunded

Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party providers for various functions including payment processing, data storage, AI processing, printing and mailing services, and email delivery.

We are not responsible for the actions, policies, availability, or performance of these third-party services. Each third-party service has its own terms of service and privacy policy. Service interruptions or issues with third-party providers may affect the availability or functionality of our Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DisputeAI LLC and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
